Experimental study on heat transfer performance of closed-type heat source towers

Establishes an experimental system for closed-type heat source tower heat pump system. Studies the variation characteristics of heat transfer performance of the closed-type tower under the different conditions of air temperatures, relative humidities, solution flows and air volumes. The results show that the total heat absorption of the closed-type heat source tower is over 7 kW. The total heat absorption increases with the increase of air temperature, relative humidity and solution flow. Focusing on the use of latent heat can increase the total heat absorption. Energy efficiency ratio of heat source tower increases with the increase of air temperature and relative humidity, while decreases with the increase of solution flow. Fan speed should be reduced to save energy if the heat absorption is satisfied.
